BearX220...funny you should mention the White House Press Corps charter. I used to work for a well-known regional jet carrier (not mentioning any names to protect the innocent!). We used to fly the Press Corps people all over the US whenever Clinton wanted to go golfing with his buddies or when Gore was campaigning. Those flights were crazy to say the least! We left the cockpit door open during flight so that anyone could come up and visit the crew. Yes, it's important to recognize that we knew all the press people on board and we had gun-bearing Secret Service people on-board just in case. But anytime you have a chartered flight, almost anything goes! Anyone can ride up in the jumpseat. Heck, we even had some well know celebrities up there on occasion!
