You are right - D8 is from CDG to OAK. D8 arrives in the evening - not night - my mistake. AF departs early in the morning and arrives before noon. I live in downtown in SF - so usually SFO and OAK are almost the same time in Uber. D8 timing is a bit more convenient for me.
Do you have anything to comment on the quality of seats on both of them? Like the seat pitch, recline etc. I think that would be the tie breaker for me.
