Well, gave Aeroplan a call yesterday to select a seat. Agent got two supervisors involved and tried calling Juneyao (mind you, I didn't even really push, they volunteered all this work). The end result was they couldn't pull up the res on Juneyao's website and they couldn't get a hold of anyone on the English line with Juneyao.
The rep, after about 90 minutes, said that their supervisor would work on getting me a seat that night or tomorrow (now today) and email me once done. Well, no email this morning and now I can't even select the itinerary under my awards on the website. I can pull the award up on Unite (since I have two legs on them) and all legs show except for the Juneyao flight.
If Aeroplan (or Juneyao) somehow managed to break the award, am I now at the mercy of whatever Star availability is left, which of course is close to nothing even remotely convenient? Or is Aeroplan able to open award space otherwise in cases like this?
