  • Incoming from CTU on CA, scheduled arrival of 14:45
  • Connecting to LHR on CA, scheduled departure 16:15
  • All booked on one ticket, and both flights are on an A350 (any chance it might be the exact same aircraft? Presumably that would protect me a bit...)
The "Baggage Through Check" page linked to above doesn't specify, but I assume getting my baggage checked all the way to LHR from CTU shouldn't be a problem? If that's the case then I'm reasonably confident about making this connection, but would appreciate any similar experience or tips...

My other concern is that this is the last flight of the day from PEK to LHR. If I don't make the connection, will I be able to argue for a re-route via HKG so that I still arrive in London before 7am the following day, or will CA force me onto the first CA flight the following day, which doesn't arrive in London until 11:50?
I'll give you 80% odds of making that connection, but if you fail, the HK thing isn't going to happen, and is not something you want.
