Chase 5/24 considers accounts OPENED in the past 24 months, without regard to whether they are still open. Most people are rejected a "5", which means you can only open one more personal account before you are locked out by Chase, but newly opened accounts are not reported immediately -and- business accounts are usually not reported.
Chase does not have a formal rule regarding credit inquiries (pulls), but that does not mean it is irrelevant. They do sometimes reject application due to inquires rather than due to the number of accounts opened.
Why are you using the App-o-Rama technique? The primary reason it was useful was to hide simultaneous inquiries, but this no longer works because inquiries are now recorded in real time.
I want to apply for a bunch of CCs at the same time. What would you recommend besides app-o-rama?
