Just came back from my stay at the Hotel de Berri. Oh wow! That sums it up.

I got upgraded (with SNA) to the Berri Suite T-5 days of arrival. Just like flyer05 described, it is a beautiful hotel. It is not your typical "luxurious" hotel like the Prince de Galle or the Peninsula Paris (think high ceiling, gold everything). Hotel de Berri is a place where everyone call you by your last name, remember your special occasions, help you in every way to make your stay exceptional. The service (soft product) is what makes this place special in my book. Don't get me wrong, the hard product (room, etc) is also exceptional too. But I stayed at many hotels (good, bad, ugly hotels), I honestly can't say I could remember many of them after the facts because at the end of the day, they all look the same. But now I have stayed at Hotel de Berri, I think I would remember this hotel for many years. (Maybe my successful engagement had something to do with that too).
