In fact that applies to the whole flight and generally speaking I don't recommend travelling with flip flops or other similar footwear with no support. I personally always travel with proper shoes and it's part of my personal safety. Easy to run as needed etc.

I agree to this. I always pay attention to the demonstrations and videos, hence I do know the basics very well. There's actually differences between planes quite a lot and between carriers using the same model. For instance rafts are differ probably most in their locations and quantities, plus are they proper detachable ones or just for mustering. Furthermore I can't off the bat say was there any differencies on planes with two decks. Well, IIRC not, but my point is that I would never assume I could perfectly describe the evacuation prodcedures for any given BA aircraft. Another thing that makes plane differ is the location of lifevests in the premium cabins. In economy there's basically just three variations (under you, in front of you and above you).

You got it wrong!

FTer: I paid for F/C! Where's our dedicated liferaft? I shan't be mixed with these plebs from Y.

I don't have my keys, but ID, CCs and smartphone are in my pockets during takeoff and landing. If nothing else, at least it's easier to identify my corpse.

It also annoys me when people don't stow away electronics during take off and landing, hence there's lithium batteries in those phones and tablets. I'm puzzled how people used to be able to be without such novelties for hours during the complete mobile phone ban (not to mention back when such modern nonsense didn't exist), but nowadays even middle aged adults seem to have trouble not be able to play Candy Crush or some other nonsense at any given time, even if we're talking about some minutes and not about hours. And yes, AA was also the carrier in question, when I had a lady fellow passenger drop her powered iPad during landing in the first row of domestic First (no bulkhead), but the crew didn't even nag at her, hence they saw it from the jump seats at the front. I was very close to making a fuss about it, because she should've been reprimanded. Unfortunately the iPad didn't sustain damage and it continued to work. Well, saved us from a lithium fire, but it can take just a small spark to ignite. In a case of an emergency these kinds of numpties would probably be the biggest annoyance for me, not the actual emergency.
