I would agree with Zorak, but would add a few notes.

I use my DL Reserve specifically for DL (2x) plus whatever non travel gets me to 30K
I use my Chase Sapphire card for all other travel purchases, and then whatever is left past the DL 30K.

I have never, and will never, buy travel insurance. This is because I fly a good bit on my own dollar, and can therefor average out the risk. The only travelers it really makes sense for is somebody making an exceptional purchase. The "once in a lifetime vacation".

I am willing to pay for a credit card that gets me travel insurance as the cost is being paid by the clowns who carry a balance at 18% :-)

EDIT: I am not talking about medical. That is another issue.
