I just completed a three night stay here. Was booked into a Superior (base) Room and assigned a Deluxe Room, facing the park on arrival. Titanium status was acknowledged. I was provided with a certificate for a couple glasses of "sparkling welcome drink" at the Kupola Bar (which I didn't redeem), and there was a welcome note and a few chocolates in the room.
The hotel hard product was in good shape, very clean, and well-maintained. Room was comfortable, although I found the bed and pillows a bit soft (but that's a preference thing). One small thing to note: the bedside outlets switch off when the keycard is removed from the slot near the door - so devices will not charge while you're away.
Front desk was good, and the staff at the door were a great bunch of guys. I had drinks and ate a couple of times at Deak Street, attached to the hotel and opening onto Fashion Street on the back side. Perhaps a bit overpriced for Budapest, but great service, solid food and a very nice atmosphere.
My rate was quite low, and didn't include breakfast. This was not offered as a Titanium member. Here's where the service fell down a bit. There were only about 25 tables in the Kupola space, and at least eight waitstaff running around. However, it seemed that none of the staff were assigned to specific tables, so coffee refills were slow, it was oddly sometimes hard to flag someone down as they buzzed around, and one morning my bill was wrong (I had ordered a la carte but was charged for the buffet). Some improvement perhaps here, but I'd certainly recommend the place and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
