MPO status match to KrisFlyer (or any *A program)

I'm not sure if I should post here or the SQ forum but my job will now move me to Singapore after many years in Hong Kong and with MPO.

I was wondering if people in this forum have done a status match to KrisFlyer Gold and how it went? It just seems such a pain to be coming from the bottom again and don't get me started with PPS qualification... sigh

Data point: Did about 60 short haul sectors in Y; 8 in long haul J last year with CX
