I have stayed. It is an important hotel as the first Anantara property, and as with all of their hotels it is well run and has the Anantara touches like Bill Bensely design. However it is not one of the five star Anantara properties like Layan Residences, Anantara Siam, etc... It’s very good value for what you pay, however.

Nothing in Hua Hin is really that high end. The exceptions are Chiva Som (destination health spa), The Barai (spa suites within the Hyatt), Villas at InterContinental, and Sheraton villas in Pranburi (Formerly Six Senses).

While the hotels I have listed, along with Anantara, are good options in Hua Hin, you’ll want to go to different places like Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, Koh Kood, etc... for the best resorts and beach quality.
