I was another discomoded by the fire and subsequent mudslides so our January 2018 reservation was cancelled at SYR.

I have heard poor reactions from friends to the FS but now am motivated to try it.

Had high hopes for the new Rosewood but now will avoid. Also not a fan of the architecture. Same reason we don't go to Meadowood in Napa. Its architecture and style are New England rsther than Napa.

I probably would choose SYR over El Encanto given both are dicey service-wise.
