As for transportation to the hotel, surely you and your 67 yo mum were going to be on a taxi / uber anyway? Uber might even be cheaper at 3:25 am.
I hope i saw your reply earlier! Turns out CX took my hotel details and ordered a transportation for us, alongside with another PEY customer... The car went to that customer's place first so we ended up arriving 30 min later than if we went directly from airport... i wished i had asked for the uber reimbursement option...
