About night markets, the easiest ones within walking distance of public transport are Shilin (via MRT), Gongguan (MRT), and Raohe (Songshan Railway station). Each one has its own character; If you have time to visit just one, I would suggest going to whichever that's the most convenient. Additionally, there is Yongkang Street (MRT Dongmen), not a night market per se, but has a vibe like it throughout the day and into the night. The original Din Tai Fung is there, so is Lao Deng 1949 across the street for Dan Dan noodles and spicy steamed pork ribs.
