This really makes me want to risk a same-plane turnaround in HAN next month. Would arrive at 9:25am from HKG and take the 10:25am (obviously the same plane). Would have an eVisa just in case. Worst that can happen? Have to clear immigration and then quickly check-in again?
Get your BP printed at HKG either at check-in or at a lounge, that way you don't need to check-in at HAN.
People reported being able to use transit for direct turn at HAN, but that''s technically illegal. There should be a business class immigration line at the left side of the hall (it definitely is at least a SkyPriority line). Then go upstairs, clear exit immigration, and clear security (there is a Business class line).
Might be tight if there are a ton of people, letting the crew know that you're turning around could be helpful.
