They're not blocked for Gold. I've got 62K booked for a future flight and have done so a couple of times. Additionally, I managed to book 64K seven days out as a Bronze, and somehow ended up amidst empty 64J and empty 63J/K.
Very strange, on MMB I can opt to pay for seat selection for some of seats but all of row 62 and 64 are blocked out. If I go to book a flexible ticket rows 62 and 64 are available including 64A with the bassinet. Screenshots below... is this normal?
