Logging into KL/AF website I am clearly shown a baggage allowance of 0 checked bags, despite the fact that I'm logged into my account (FB gold). What does it say on the VS website? To my knowledge VS does not (yet) offer benefits to FB members but I have seen reports of people booking an AF/KL light fare operated by VS which showed up as Economy Classic on the VS site. If you're handing over the bag directly to VS I believe they won't make you pay because classic includes one bag. However, if you have a connecting flight before the VS flight then it's more difficult to predict: AF/KL would see the light fare so no bag, but then again they would honor your status.
