You are incorrect sir, the airlines get a direct full-fare tax credit for each seat used by a FAM. Upon further analysis, however, they do not have much of a tax burden if they are losing money now are they? Who is scratching who? I can absolutely guarantee you of one thing, the airlines are not losing one dime because of the FAM program, they are losing money because of mismanagement and a failed business model, period.
