I’m not defending AA and their financials compared to peers are pathetic but airlines are businesses. Very big ones that really don’t miss individual flyers. Well maybe the $50K + year kind.

I fly AA because I don’t want to connect in ATL, I don’t want to schlep up to FLL for B6 and I’m LTPLT.
