'Fences' being installed on UA's fleet?

I was on UA916 (IAD->SEA - 752 service) this morning and noticed that United has installed a 'retractable' fence (not sure how better to describe it) between the F-cabin and the forward galley. It is pulled out from the little coat-closet and attaches to the opposite wall. It looked like a left-over fence from Jurassic Park ;-) The crew had a lot of trouble operating it and it frankly did not look that secure - but it definitely appear more fancy than the old cart in the galley blocking the access to the galley when the pilot/1st officer needed to get to the restroom.

Guess that gives a whole new meaning to 'iron curtain' ;-)

Anyone else seen this?
