I'm no fanboy for Airbus versus Boeing, but for those of us with broad shoulders, A330,350,380 all better comfort than their Boeing counterparts these days, given the way airlines have crammed in the extra seats in 777 and 787.
I still remember the Boeing Dreamliner promos showing 2-4-2 economy. Then the airlines bought configured as 3-3-3. I wish Boeing had made the fuselage
just narrow enough to force 2-4-2 as the only config, or
just wide enough to support 3-3-3 in the old 18" wide seats but not as wide as the 777s. I've noticed flying Delta domestically that I'm more comfortable on the Airbus narrowbodies.
