Try citing Contract of Carriage Rule 24(B)(7)(c), which defines IRROPS warranting a free change as "Substitution of aircraft type that provides different classes of service or
different seat configurations." I actually don't think it's meant to apply in this situation (different kind of lie-flat) but it's not an outrageous argument and may get you some traction.
