I recently moved but something interesting happened when I applied for my 13th AA plat card. I had to verify my application for the last 4-6 apps via my google voice number, called into retention everytime it went pending and got the SMS code without issue but this time it was different. They had to verify my phone number for this application and while putting it through the system it locked them out and said "Suspicious" and cannot use this number to verify anymore. Although I do receive the code at that time it doesnt matter their system wont allow them to input it. I then tried using my Verizon number which is on a family plan and I am the primary account holder and they still said the third party verification company cannot verify it.

At first I thought it was jsut a new address and I need to cool off a bit, and maybe i havent waited long enough yet (just 2 weeks since new address). Has anyone experienced anything like this where Citi or anyone cannot verify your identity via phone number matching? Any clue on how to resolve this? Searching google and what not doesnt give me much answer other than any VOIP service including prepays dont work. I have had this google voice number work for the last 12 apps dont know why it started flagging it as suspicious all of a sudden.
