oh man...

Should I assume she was unfamiliar with the nuances of the different service standards in Delta One?

for some reason I thought Delta One cabin crew were specially trained (or just senior), but I recently learned that might not be true.

Not to stray too far off, but one time there was a last minute crew swap on a 767 JFk-LAX. I was in D1. The FAs up in front knew what they were doing, but the FAs in the back were pretty clueless. During disembarkation, one of them was taking to me and said “oh wow, what are these, I’ve never seen these before” (referring to the amenity kits). I showed her mine, and she looked through it as if it was the first time she’d ever seen one.
