A few post-merger questions to clarify breakfast:
Booked two rooms here - as a Lifetime Platinum, I should expect free buffet breakfast in the restaurant for myself and one guest, correct? I assume my other guests are at full retail of 3000 each for the buffet or do Plat guests receive any dining discounts?
I am traveling with two elderly guests that are limited with walking - are escalators and elevators available from the Shinkansen tracks to the main level, and from the main level to the hotel lobby? Is the walk from the station to the hotel fairly short and easy?
I am renting a car and will need to park it nearby - the hotel seems to have valet for 1500 which is not bad, but if there are much cheaper lots very close to the hotel, that would be a help - or even in the station if their 24hr rate is much cheaper.
Any recent reports of post-merger upgrades and overall Platinum treatment? Or is Titanium the new Platinum and I shouldn't expect much more than a Gold member?
