In the first plan all foreign carriers included BA would been shot to A, B and F concourses to the farthest gates, as C, D and E gates would only be reserved for TK aircraft. However, they weren't able to manage that, so it ended up being foreign carriers and other Turkish carriers ( KK & 8Q ) getting better gates than TK. However, this looks like a temporary situation but probably won't be solved for a long period of time. Let's also remember that %80 in all BA flights Atatürk Airport, the gate was 504 for both services which was one of the farthest bus gates from the Millennium Lounge and the duty free area. However, let me give you the bad news that anytime BA could be back in its bus gate situation similar to Atatürk Airport for the nightstopper flight. The nightstopper LOT, which rests at IST for the same time period as BA, doesn't get a jetbridge every day even at the new airport.
