AS miles are worth more to me - so I'm happy (if having had to spend more time than I'd have liked).
This is correct. The
base miles accrued to Mileage Plan is a percentage of miles flown for the fare class purchased per the partner chart up to 100%. The Elite bonus is calculated as 50% for MVP, 100% for MVPG or 125% for MVPG75K of the
base miles. If you flew 6000 miles on CX in S class (25%) your base (also EQM) would be 1500 miles + 1500 miles for MVPG Elite bonus as RDM only.
If you are logged into your AA account and add a different FF# in your reservation both FF#s will be attached. I ran into issues with this flying AA internationally. On my last AA flight PVR-PHX I inquired with the check-in agent to confirm my AS FF# and was advised that both my AA & AS numbers were on file. I asked them to remove the AA number which she was able to do. I had no issues with the flight posting to AS. Maybe something to keep in mind.
