Marriott Long Wharf
I booked a points stay over Marathon weekend as the rates were sky-high. Used SNA to clear into Wharf View One Bedroom Suite, which appeared to clear at 5 day mark but I never received any notification. The room was nicely remodeled with all the furnishing still in like new condition. They also let me check in around 12:30 which is always nice instead of storing luggage. I was advised at booking that the M Club lounge is closed on Saturday and Sunday and Platinum members would receive 1000 bonus points per night which of course did not post automatically and I had to email for them to be credited. Never did see the inside of the M Club so I can't comment on that.
The hotel is in prime location for many tourist activities with many sites in easy walking distance and there are many places to eat at various price points also within a short walk. The hotel is right on top of the Aquarium T stop also made for a short, cheap ride from the airport. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would be happy to return again.
