Please don't start this again. The internet was full of this after the JT610 crash and see where did it lead. What I don't like on a current situation that it looks like the bean counters prevailed again. A fast fix is done, we can start now! And look ma, no simulator needed at all! Well, I have to say, I'm deeply disappointed. The 737 line is way too important for Boeing to do such things. The 737 has to absolutely reliable. It simply cannot crash within the next few years, period. Because the flying public wouldn't care. Even if A.L. would come back from death and decided to commit mass murder/suicide on a 737 this time, people would run from the 737 screaming.
