Hey guys, seeing as this thread has gone a little cold, looking to see how much has changed. I see there's a Hilton in Jiuzhaigou, it appears to be pretty good location to split days at Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. That was our plan: to do 2 days in Jiuzhaigou and a day at Huanglong. We have 13 days in China, which unfortunately go from 9/28 through 10/10, so they include the National Holiday. We fly in/out of PEK, so my plan was to do 3 nights in Beijing, maybe head to Kyoto for 5 nights during National Holiday (or maybe stay in China, not sure how bad that week will make tourist spots), then come back for Jiuzhaigou / Huanglong. Based on having to fly through CTU, I'm thinking it'll take 4-5 days to do that.
Anything jump out as way off base? I'm still doing research, shaping the itinerary, but this is the rough outline I'm thinking!
