Hi,

I am trying to fly from NYC-AMS on August 16th arriving AMS on the morning of the 17th. Return is flexible but aiming for the 27th. Lowest Business flight is almost 6k for a connecting flight through LHR

Other carriers (Delta, Continental) show business flights for only 3k direct.

Why is AA so expensive and can anyone think of a way I can fly an AA or OW flight to AMS for around 3k? I can probably go a day earlier if needed.
