Actually, I prefer these two resorts to Amanpulo. I find Amanpulo to be plain, like it was transported from the Maldives or somewhere. If not for the native style furniture, there is nothing Filipino about that resort - you might as well be in the South Pacific. The El Nido Resorts have more local culture and taste. They give the Amanresorts in Bali a run for their money!
