It is on Tuas, which AFAIK, does not even have an option to have border crossing by foot, so it is designated for auto travel.

Automated gates with passport/fingerprint scanning at CIQ on MY side would yield much better result I think. I month ago I ended up waiting on CIQ side 1h and 45 min in line on Saturday morning...
