I have used the AA lounge without any issue. The BA lounge (QR directs its pax there) tends to get very crowded just before the BA departure; also QR J passengers (I was also OWS then) were denied access to anything other than the paltry buffet layout (2 sandwiches, crisps and a salad, if I recall correctly). The AA lounge was much nicer.
