I haven't stayed here, but based on what I've read in reviews and on blogs, it seems the SNAs rarely clear at the Westin due to such a very small number of suites, so I wouldn't count on that too much. I have also read that both properties have free breakfast offerings for plats and above (rare and not required for a Ritz, I know!). You likely know this already, but the Westin basic room is overlooking a parking lot, but it's just one building so you can easily get to the pool/beach. Ritz is spread over two buildings across the road...basic rooms are "garden view" but are a 5-10 min walk to main pool and beach.
