My own experience is that unless you tell Barclaycard that you are filing a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service, you won't get any satisfaction. I ultimately managed to get some compensation from Barclaycard but still haven't received several thousand points.

I wish you luck -- I just cancelled the card out of frustration.
