My guts tell me that ticket will be reissued if i want to drop first segment.
In late 2017 I had to change a KUL-SIN-MEL to SIN-MEL, and was charged usd 25 route change fee.
The booking reference / PNR remained the same, but SQ sent me new PDFs with different ETR's.
