Edit: Just noticed you mention this is a BA Holidays booking. That may make things a bit more tortuous. Probably worth calling AA directly to ask, though you may be told that you need to go through the travel agent (BA Hols) for any re-scheduling requests.
I wouldn't think there is any point calling AA when on a BA ticket.
I think considering the time changes you should be able to get BA to do the changes to the itineraries you proposed - I have just done some similar changes to a booking of mind with AA domestic flights due to large time changes. I would have thought BA holidays would be fine to deal with, the comments on them on this board always seem positive.
