Dear Chris,

I really appreciate the offers that we received from this booklet and its' prior bretheren, and I understand that from some more knowledgeable than me that this was the first time Marriott put out such a coupon booklet for ths summer, but I wanted to know why in the heck did they decide to have the coupons terminate on 8/30/04 when most other times the coupon booklets end on or a day before a holiday weekend?

As you all know, the Labor Day weekend ends on 9/6/04, thereby rendering ineffective, the B1G1 Free Weekend Day Marriott and Renaissance coupons, therein.

I have been shopping around to my friends -- gratis, of course, -- these coupons and whether they can use them for their own travels, and I have been met with either a no, because it does not cover the Labor Day weekend, or they have also received these coupons, and they have been unable to use them, as well!!

In answer to the next question that some of you might have, yes, you can PM mail me requesting these coupons, but, they will not go to the first who e-mailed me. This is not a democratic process and my friends -- who have stood by me thru thick and thin -- will have first crack at them.

I was just wondering how many others out there who received these coupons and can't use them?
