Don't worry too much about finding suitable food. Most pet food brands are manufactured and marketed globally by multinational corporations and available pretty much everywhere in the world.Especially in Europe, you'll have no problem finding the same food that you use in the US if you use a big-name brand like Purina (made by Nestlé), Whiskas (made by Mars) or Hill's (made by Colgate-Palmolive).
Good to know. We switched from Purina to Rachel Ray about 6 months ago since it was grain free and doesn't seem to upset picky's tummy. He's such a spoiled sweetheart, but age is finally catching up with him. I'd have to look through his paperwork, but I think he's 11 or 12 years old now and is no longer as spry as he used to be. Any idea who owns Rachel Ray? No worries if you don't know off hand. I'm sure a little Google sleuthing will help us figure it out. There's no way that I'm going to pay $55 per small bag over there for what I can get here for under $8 a bag, but as you suggested, I'm sure there are equivalents that we just need to locate. It's been a little difficult to do online since we don't know the language, but hopefully we can figure it out ahead of time. I think I may even email them tomorrow and simply ask them directly. Thank you!
