I had this before when entering it directly on AA's website but always worked when going via a Google flights link. Is there anyway around it?

The flights in question are 16 AUG ORD-DFW-MIA-TYS and 21 AUG GSP-CLT-DFW-ORD (it's all about the BA tier points)
