They could show the garbage patches too, might be more prominent.
I like when the maps show me the sites of old shipwrecks so I can appreciate the safety and speed of flying across the oceans.
If they can show something dynamic, a weather layer would be nice and useful.
As for shipwrecks, imaging they show the same map on cruise
Or perhaps on cruise ships they will show a map with aircraft crashing sites
