Yes, I'm in Phoenix, Arizona. I have looked on AA, but didn't find anything. I talked to AA about using my AA miles for an upgrade on the BA flight I've got booked in May, but they said they couldn't even see the booking. Maybe because I booked it through a consolidator on Skyscanner. (My first time using them.) From what I've been told by airline reps, these alliance partners don't seem to cooperate very well. I didn't even bother asking the JAL rep about the BA flight, but I may try BA.
