A recent report in International Travel News by a visiting American who lost a crown shared her experience:
Once back in La Habana, she called her dentist in Texas, who told her to get the cap reinserted ASAP to avoid any potential problem with teeth shifting requiring more expensive treatment back home. She went to the 24 hour medical and dental clinic for visitors that is part of Cuba’s National System of Public Healy at
Clínica Central Cira García

The writer showed her passport to prove foreign residency and her boarding pass as proof she had paid for the required medical insurance for visitors.
For the crown reinstallation the bill was for CUC 50.00, but the health insurance reduced that to 59%, so CUC 25.00. She was quite satisfied with her treatment and the speed of access to care, and her dentist spoke good English.
