IIRC the NRT flight leaves from gate A34 (across from Sora which caters to the Japanese travellers). It's close to the center of Concourse A making it very easy to get to from any gate. The ORD-DTW is mainline so it'll come in to Concourse A as well.

Pick a seat as close to the front as you can or splurge and buy up to C+ which gets you off the plane quickly

There's also an earlier ORD-DTW flight.
