Parking is a pain

Parking is a royal pain in this area. There is one garage near the Reniscenti (sic) store, Hotel Duomo and the movie theater, but expensive. There is another at the end of the Duomo's ped walk, near the Hugo Boss store and the beginning of the designer shopping area, Monte Napolean (or something like that.) Also pretty expensive and a bit of a walk. Street parking is usually available, but there are areas where there are time limits, also, meters or the "parking assistant" to deal with. Just try to remember where you parked your car, as I remember one trip I found a great spot to park near a bank and wrote down the bank as a landmark. Unfortunately, there was one of these banks on every street corner, it seems, so it took a while to find the right one. At least the taxi driver had a good laugh.
