Today, received an email from Jet stating that the last leg (AMS - DEL) is cancelled and to contact them for further details. They seem to show the PDX - AMS leg (on DL) still valid. Tried reaching their US toll free number, but that also does not work now !
Wondering if I should call Delta to check or directly call Amex to get the refund initiated. And any experiences on how the refund is computed, since now may possibly need to buy a OW which is nearly the price of a return flight.

Thanks for the response.
Do you mean, the credit card will refund the charge even if they don't provide any feature like this? Will this come under service not delivered category? This ticket was booked with Amex Gold issued in US and it does not have any travel interruption coverage (only misplaced baggage coverage).

What happens if Jet goes down and closes shop? Will Delta honor their flight ? I assume Jet will try to give a refund for the AMS - DEL leg but that will take its own time ?
Have not bought trip insurance. Is that something we can buy or add on ticket now?
