Yesterday, Angle Large Clawed Otter posted wonderful descriptions of two stays in Guatemala that has me running down a rabbit trail thinking of a trip in January 2020.

I then searched out every reference I could find to Guatemala in this forum. There was discussion of the Coppola property near Tikal, La Lancha Lodge. KI-NRT, in whose judgment I have great faith, had a 2010 stay and found it acceptable for unwinding but not a destination property. We have already been to Tikal so dropped it from my list.

Are there other properties you'd fold into a Guatemala visit? Is there any reason for us to return to Chichicastenango?
