I just received a cancellation notice for my AMS-YYZ flight on May 20th. That seems a little extreme to cancel it so far out no? What happened if everything works out and the service is resumed? I’d have to rebook at likely a different rate.
They’re dropping the route. It will free up a lot of planes for them because this is the only real long long haul they fly. Plus they’re now really scared to fly to the west. They’ve got banks in the US & UK plus a whole bunch of other vendors baying for blood.
