Can anyone provide more info on the elusive Int-to-Int T2->T3 airside transfer method? I’ll be arriving at PEK T2 on CZ (TAS-PEK) and departing T3 on KA (PEK-HKG-BOS). Separate tickets, no checked bags. I have a Chinese visa and gave myself a 6hr buffer between flights.
I’m certainly prepared to do the standard landside transfer method, but I’d like to be prepared in the event my incoming flight is terribly delayed.
It cannot be done airside. It is a 20-minute bus ride between the terminals. You clear immigration, go out looking for the shuttle bus then at T3 you check-in, pass exit immigration and security. 6 hours is plenty of time.
